Thereby, bringing a spread of irresistible South Indian cuisine during your next departure from Mumbai, GVK Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) managing the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) introduces the newly launched South Indian restaurant – Grand Annapoorna. Specialising in Tamil cuisine, the new restaurant at CSMIA offers versatility in delicacies, familiarising global citizens to local food from South India. Passengers now will not only be able to enjoy mouth-watering food but will also be able to enjoy the meal with a view due to its proximity to India’s largest art initiative – the Jaya He Museum. The purely vegetarian restaurant, Grand Annapoorna, is available to passengers flying via CSMIA’s Terminal 2 at the international departures. The restaurant was opened to the passengers this week.
Catering to millions of global passengers, MIAL with this new addition under its name further expands its food offerings at the airport. Spread across a massive 21,000 sq. mts. the F&B and retail area at CSMIA is brimming with new and exclusive brands and outlets. With this newest food offering, CSMIA through Grand Annapoorna brings unique flavours, tangy twist, sweet infusions and a plethora of food choices at the airport. Additionally, bringing the essence of South India to the passengers at MIAL, the patrons can look forward to enjoying South Indian vegetarian cuisine on the traditional banana leaf and satisfy their taste buds by eating in the authentic South Indian tradition or can opt for modern cutlery tradition of having food. Thereby, serving the passengers food that’s not only is great in taste but also which is healthy and yet satiating.
Providing an experience to the passengers and emphasizing on the need to offer quality services to every patron flying via CSMIA, the new fine dining restaurant’s USP includes its spices that are homemade and locally sourced from South India – allowing passengers to experience scrumptious South Indian cuisine here in Mumbai.
